To keep up with the times and meet their clients’ expectations, WMP asked Marviq to develop a digital solution that would allow investors to receive up-to-date information about the status of their finances and investments.

Our engineers have developed a state-of-the-art web application that allows WMP clients to log in and view a PDF file with up-to-date information about their portfolio. Investors can now independently access their asset portfolios anytime, anywhere without having to contact their account managers. To further enhance this experience, we modified the web application to display additional reports based on previous night’s data. Thanks to this change, WMP clients no longer have to wait for monthly reports, but can access the most up-to-date information from the comfort of their own homes.

This greatly improved the experience of WMP’s customers and gave them 24/7 self-service access to their investment portfolios. WMP took it a step further and engaged Marviq to additionally develop a mobile app that would serve a similar purpose. Our developers used the same API as for the web application to provide the same information to WMP’s clients on mobile devices. We built mobile apps for both iOS and Android that allow users to track their investment performance via graphs and charts.

By giving clients the ability to view their investment portfolios through both the web and a mobile app, WMP has taken its definition of partnership to the next level. Privacy and Secure Access to Information

To ensure that WMP customers’ information is private and secure, Marviq added all necessary security features such as two-factor authentication to both the web and mobile apps. Additional security measures are vital to ensure that no unauthorized person has access to private investment data. The high level of security offered by the WMP wealth management app protects users from having their accounts compromised and their data stolen. The security solutions we have implemented in the WMP app address privacy concerns and give users a sense of safety.

However, with the mobile app, the constant re-authentication was felt to be unnecessarily cumbersome. Our engineers changed the approach and developed a different way to ensure secure data storage. WMP’s customers can now safely use the WMP app on their devices using either FaceID or a fingerprint.

Since launching the web and mobile apps for their clients, WMP has seen a significant decrease in the number of inbound client calls. With investors able to view and analyze their financial portfolios on their own, they no longer felt the need to contact their advisors as frequently as they used to. By offering the self-service apps, WMP was able to free up customer service and redirect their efforts to other, more important tasks, such as troubleshooting.

Unlimited access to up-to-date investment data also improved the customer experience, increasing the company’s customer satisfaction scores over time.
